Hiperbarica De Cozumel is the most
advanced Recompression Center in Cozumel. The Chamber is
operated by Dr. Pascual Piccolo who has been studying &
treating diving accidents for over 15 years.
The Chamber is a US certified 60 in.
multi-place chamber with double locks. It is equipped with an
emergency fire system, Insta-Gas oxygen maker, video monitor and
oxygen hood for the unconscious patient.
When you dive in Cozumel, be sure to check with your dive operator to know if they are affiliated with a Chamber Service. Typically each diver pays $1 dollar per day to keep the chamber operational. This does not entitle you to have full coverage against diving accidents. Make sure you have adequate insurance to cover your treatment at the Chamber.
